Winter Fashion...

So here in the Huston Home we are going through a "Year of No Spending." It's great and all, save money, focus on quality time... blah blah blah. Okay, I'm mostly kidding, overall these past 3 months have been fairly easy. We are pretty blessed and don't actually need much. One thing that is hard for me though, is not updating my wardrobe AT ALL for the new seasons.

Don't get me wrong, I am no fashionista. I wear gym clothes most of the time, I've had some items in my closet for literally 10 years (freshman year of high school, baby), and my shoe game is rarely on point. But that doesn't mean I can't want. I want to be fabulous! I want to look like I just walked out of a J. Crew magazine at all times. I want to be able to say "Oh this old thing?" condescendingly, not literally. But this year is meant to stop me from spending money on things like clothes... So instead, I will blog about all of my Winter wants.

M and I were talking the other day about what a dream come true it would be to be able to get a shopping spree to buy an updated, complete, new wardrobe. I picture myself on one of those game shows where I only get 10 minutes to fit as much as they can in their shopping cart, and what is in the cart I get to keep at the end of the 10 minutes! I would excel at that game, 1) because I would already know what I want to grab, 2) because I am exceptionally competitive.

So anyways, to keep me sane, here are the things I would put in my shopping cart this season...
